A4G Holdings Delivers Hope to Danville’s Needy This Mandela Day

Pretoria, July 19, 2025 – In celebration of Mandela Day, A4G Holdings, a company dedicated to fostering, who shared value for business and society, blessed Geseende Hande in Danville, Pretoria, generously with probably one of the biggest donations ever.
The staff and directors of A4G Holdings initiated the outreach. Geseende Hande has, for the past 17 years, provided essential supplies to communities facing severe hardship. Supported by Unchain Our Children, this initiative tackled South Africa’s deepening poverty crisis, where many lack access to basic necessities such as food, clothing, and shelter.

Over 500 individuals, including children, elderly, families, and pet owners, gathered at Geseende Hande’s gates yesterday. Each received a warm meal, with pet owners also provided with dog food to care for their animals.

A4G Holdings delivered a substantial donation via a large truck, including dry food staples like mielie meal, clothing, blankets, and over 360 gift boxes.

Additionally, 170 families received warm blankets to help them endure the winter cold. This effort reflects A4G Holdings’ commitment to linking business success with social impact, as highlighted on their website (https://www.arete.co.za/our-investment-philosophy/).

Esther Malan, founder of Geseende Hande, expressed heartfelt gratitude, describing the donation as a divine blessing. “I am deeply thankful to God for this generous contribution of food, clothing, and blankets,” she said. Malan also acknowledged her dedicated community volunteers, Uncle Manie for his prayers, Pastor Gert Els for spiritual guidance, and Bertus for his weekly praise songs. She extended special appreciation to Wayne van Onselen of Unchain Our Children for their unwavering support, enabling Geseende Hande to provide vital resources to those in need.

Unchain Our Children remains a committed partner, ensuring donations directly benefit vulnerable communities. Founder Wayne van Onselen emphasized, “Every item we donate reaches a man, woman, or child in need. Nothing is sold. We channel these resources to communities or partners like Geseende Hande, who share our mission to uplift those in crisis.”
