Last night, Mon Ami Trauma Troopers hosted a heartfelt award ceremony in Pretoria, celebrating community heroes. Unchain Our Children’s founder, Wayne van Onselen, and Nicky McDonald were honored with a Certificate of Appreciation for their unwavering support.

UOC’s partnership with Mon Ami, a community-based support group dedicated to aiding trauma survivors in Pretoria and greater Tshwane, has yielded countless success stories.
Unchain’s commitment to caring for victims and survivors of abuse has strengthened this bond, rooted in shared values of compassion and respect for human life.
Mon Ami, meaning “my friend” in French, fosters emotional healing and community engagement, guided by democratic and ethical principles.
