SHOUT-OUT TO SASOL LOTUS GARDENS SUPER-SIZED FOOD DONATION TO GESEENDE HANDE FEEDING PROJECT

Unchain Our Children a longstanding supporter of Geseende Hande was present when Chrissie Lemmer, Lotus Gardens Sasol Franchisee and her team together with Sasol Corporate staff, warmed the hearts of Esther and Frans Malan, Founders and Directors of Geseende Hande soup kitchen in Danville Pretoria West with a huge food product donation earlier this week.  Chrissie, a supporter of several charities in the past, has a heart for her fellow man and firmly believe to support her immediate community in a generous and tangible way.

“Covid has learned the world a lesson – your world can implode instantly!  As we were blessed as a business to survive that time, I realized how necessary it is to care for the vulnerable by supporting initiatives like Geseende Hande”, she said.

Meeting with Esther Malan, Chrissie was astonished to learn of her 17-year dedication of feeding the Danville community on a regular basis and decided to contribute generously with a huge lot of lovely food products to Geseende Hande’s feeding initiative.  Sasol Corporate, true to their social responsibility ethos, matched Chrissie’s donation and joined in assisting with the serving of meals.

SASOL Lotus Gardens is certainly upholding their social responsibility in a heartfelt way by this generous donation making sure they are blessing others as they are blessed.
