UNCHAIN ME

The new project, Unchain Me, initiated by Bianca van Onselen, Financial Director of UOC and wife of Wayne van Onselen, Founder and Director of UOC, was launched 15 March 2025 at the Premier Hotel in Pretoria.

“I dedicate this project not only to the ladies who are supporting UOC with their time, service and contributions but to all women who sense they need some time out to re-group, have their faith strengthened, connect and network with others. The aim of Unchain Me is to assist women to free themselves from burdens that keep them from peace, purpose and achieving their full potential and live a victorious life of faith”, Bianca said.

Her inspiring words, well-chosen but spontaneous, were evident of God’s mighty presence, His love, liberty, comfort, deliverance and provision in life.  She spoke with confidence of His almighty power which manifests when we trust Him, His timing and His Will and reminded us of the powerful promise in Jerimiah:

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jerimiah 29:11

She encouraged the audience to wait on the Lord and not lose hope when He doesn’t answer immediately.  “Remember the miracles in your life, and the miracles in others’ lives, and hold on to them until God decides how He will make a miracle for you”.

Entertainment was provided by the talented Johan De Klerk a composer and songwriter popular and much loved for his performances at private- and corporate functions. Johan performed Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art and other secular hit songs beautifully and rendered the old favorites in his own captivating version.

Guests enjoyed the sumptuous buffet laid out by the amazing Chefs of Premier Hotel and enjoyed the best Saturday brunch at a beautifully decorated table while chatting with friends and colleagues.

She prayed blessings over the audience and afterwards everyone got busy decorating their piece of the puzzle which will form part of bigger picture in the end – equating the believers, each being a different part of the body of Christ.

Later, at the Blue Wall, happy pics where taken to memorize the morning.  Acquaintances were made, friendships solidified and opportunities to serve utilized. Walking, on the way to leave and go home, her words still echoed in our hearts:

“Hold onto Hope in the midst of trials and tribulations.  Listen to the Holy Spirit’s voice. Trust God to determine your steps and direct your path. Be your authentic self, uncontrolled and free.  Shake off the shackles.  Soar like an eagle, unburdened”. Bianca van Onselen
