Unchain Our Children’s Founder and Executive Director, Wayne van Onselen was recently invited by Pastor James Warren, Ambassador of Corps St. Lazarus International (CSLI) in South Africa to join the CSLI which forms part of Lazarus Union International, an NGO with general consultative status to the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
After the successful completion of the course, Wayne was registered and appointed as an Ensign Officer, the first rank of the Officers ranks, and became a member of CSLI South Africa to join more than 850 members of the organization furthering humanitarian initiatives of the United Nations in the country. He was also appointed as extraordinary member of CSLI.
Later, Unchain Our Children, as a non-profit company, will also apply for membership with the CSLI in South Africa to contribute valuable services which have already distinguished them in several social spheres combatting abuse and other human right violations against children as well as counter human trafficking operations and awareness events conducted in communities.
“Taking hands with like-minded organizations secure our impact on vulnerable societies and further our footprint internationally”, Wayne said upon receiving his certificates from Ambassador Warren.
