Unchain Our Children observed the 18th World Rabies Day, held annually on 28 September, to raise awareness about rabies prevention by vaccination, today at Reddingsdaad in Danville, Pretoria.
Wayne van Onselen, Founder and Executive Director of Unchain Our Children gave a big shout out to David McInroy from First Property Trust for his initiative to assist the events of the day, The Team from Animal Clinic in Menlyn and Garden Court Southern Sun for their incredible contribution to support the inoculation effort.
The celebration extended to a very special little boy who also joined the day’s event and Unchain’s dedication to the quality of his life became a dedicated project – Project Levi.
This project is on its way and sponsors have already come forward with necessities for his special needs.
Incorporating members of the communities during special days is evident of the long term dedication the organization displays towards recovery journeys of the vulnerable.
